Dunrovin Christian Brothers Retreat Center

Dunrovin opened in 1964 as one of the few retreat centers that focused on youth development. It was founded by a Catholic order, the Midwest Christian Brothers of St. John the Baptist de La Salle which has dedicated its services to the education of poor and disadvantaged youth since the 17th century and who's founder is quoted above.

Through 1980, the center brought juniors and seniors from Twin Cities-based schools on site for leadership and team-building exercises that helped attendees grow as Christians. Since then, Dunrovin has hosted and financed retreats for at-risk youth, Catholic retreats for Junior and senior high students. Dunrovin also serves the greater community as host to many of the faiths, church groups, non-profit organizations and miscellaneous individuals. Anyone from any background who is seeking respite is welcome to come and retreat themselves, with others or assisted by the staff-guided life coaching and spiritual guidance services.

Sunset Dinner Cruise

On Monday July 25th Dunrovin Christian Brothers' Retreat Center will host our Annual Sunset Dinner Cruise on the St. Croix River (www.dunrovin.org).

Joint friends and family of Dunrovin for a relaxing evening dinner, live music, games, and silent auction. Unwind and enjoy the beautiful landscape as we travel the St. Croix River. ALL proceeds raised from this event directly benefit the Catholic Youth Programs. Your help provides necessary funds for hundreds of youth to experience life-changing camps, and spiritual growth retreats at no cost to them.
